Sea turtles as our Inspiration

Did you know that beyond calm beaches and beautiful landscapes, this bay was once home to sea turtles - known as Chelona in Greek (χελώνα).


Sea turtles are remarkable creatures. We wanted to honour them and preserve the memory of what once lived here. That is why ālma is the rebirth of a beach bar that for many years stood on Chelona Beach.


This is our New Story, respecting for every footprint that came before us.
